Eustace gave his occupation as Carter and said he also sometimes worked in the country when he enlisted at Randwick in August 1915 and served in the 13th Brigade Australian Field Artillery. His parents address was 'Clavil' Carey Street, Randwick.

Eustace departed Sydney on the 'Euripides' 2 November 1915 and arrived in France via Egypt 24 June 1916.

His personal effects were lost in transit on the way to Australia when the 'Barunga' was lost at sea due to enemy action.

Driver Eustace Clavil PEVERELL died at the 10th Australian Field Ambulance, Neuve-Eglise, Belgium from multiple gunshot wounds received in action 12 December 1917 age 24.
